THE RUNIC ANIMIST CALENDAR 2021

The Runic Animist Calendar is a beautiful and simple everyday tool that introduces seasonal animism from Northern Europe in your normal life. The calendar shows the runic calendar, the luni-solar reckoning and has folkloric and Heathen holidays marked with traditional primstaff marks. This year it showcases the art of a selection of amazing artists working on the overall theme: “Runes”.

By relinking us to the turning of the year and the seasonal practices of animism we may find a way towards a less destructive way of relating to the living world. The Runic Animist Calendar offers insight into the North European reservoir of traditional animist knowledge which is largely forgotten or rejected.

The calendar for 2021 has two parts; The Runic Animist Wall calendar which this year showcases the art of a selection of amazing artists working on the overall theme: “Runes”. The manual book “The Nordic Animist Year” supports and explains the wall calendar, but can also stand alone as a generic introduction to seasonal animism. that can be used year after year.
